as ISO 14001:2004. After getting the Environmental

The
concept of having green building is no more just a

no formal mechanism for validation of Green Buildings
that was available for Residential Projects.
This
was first time in India Eco Housing was introduced
under the agies of Science and Technology Park, PMC,
PCMC coordinated efforts. Nyati Group wanted a third
party validation, so that the intent of Eco friendliness
is also genuinely passed on to the clients. As the
validity of this certificate is for a period of five
years, till then the clients will get a 50% rebate
on their property tax, after which this certificate
can be revalidated in case they would like to continue
with the tax rebate benefits.
The
Eco-Housing entails the use of Energy Efficient, environmental
architecture for reduction of heat island effect.
Water conservation by recycling of grey & black
water, utilization of non conventional energy and
preserving the existing natural flora & fauna.
By
congregation of eco housing homes, they have endeavored
to reduce the carbon footprint of its residents. With
an attempt at conservation of natural resources, the
project has been designed to make extensive use of
recycling and renewable energy sources. The terraces
will be installed with solar panels that seek to partly
substitute for regular energy consumption. The wastewater
recycling mechanism along with water-harvesting techniques
have been installed to save precious water. Their
endeavors have finally borne fruit with this recognition
they have received as the first Eco Housing certified
